Beautiful U Day 2008
Thursday, April 17
This year, we're planting a different kind of bulb.
Since 1997, Beautiful U Day has advanced the University of Minnesota's commitment to sustainability and campus beautification. To celebrate the 10th Anniversary of Beautiful U Day, we're giving away 10,000 compact florescent light bulbs to the campus community. Using those light bulbs will reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 1,028,549 pounds each year.
Now that's Beautiful.
Pick up your bulb in your residence hall or at the Beautiful U Day lunch on the Northrop Plaza or in front of the St. Paul Student Center.
